About LineOut

Hands-on since 2010

A production company from Gqeberha that started with sound and lighting for live music, and grew into planning and running the whole event.

Our story

From live music gear to the whole event

Ronnie van Jaarsveld started LineOut in Port Elizabeth in 2010, supplying sound and lighting for live music and corporate events. The company grew the way its clients' events did: a mobile stage of our own in 2014, VIP hospitality for Standard Bank at Ironman from 2015, brand activations from 2019 and a streaming studio in 2020.

Today we work in three disciplines, brand experience, technical production and integrated systems, from our base in Newton Park, with a technical team in Gauteng. We are joint partner in Centrestage@Baywest and its technical supplier, and the music store Tempo Musik is a LineOut division.

Some of our clients have been with us for more than a decade, and for 15 years we have been part of the technical team at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda every winter.

Ronnie van Jaarsveld, founder and director

LineOut started in technical AV, but we have grown alongside our clients' needs. Today we don't just supply gear for events; we own the entire execution, from technical production and advisory to the final brand experience. My role is to align our people and systems so that your event's outcome is never left to chance.

What we stand for

Precision, control, execution

  1. Precision in every signal

The right system for the room, set up carefully and tested before doors open. Small details are what the audience notices when they go wrong.

  2. Control in every moment

An experienced technician on every job, a clear run sheet and one point of contact, so there are no surprises on the day.

  3. Execution without failure

We don't just prepare, we execute. We don't just promise, we deliver. Everything works, every time.
